Fraise: A Passion Project
Not everything has to start with a brief.
Sometimes it starts with curiosity, with play, or with a simple question: What if?
That’s how Fraise began.
A passing chat in the back of a taxi in Gothenburg turned into an idea none of us wanted to let go of. One about creativity for creativity’s sake and doing things because they feel right.

Dalton Maag, where Zeynep, Pablo and the team designed a typeface inspired by Mid-Century modern forms. Elegant, characterful and built with love.
Ourselves at Synth, experimenting with abstraction, motion and expression.
Then GF Smith, pushing print possibilities and material storytelling.
Together we saw something worth growing. A shared hunch that Fraise shouldn’t just live on screen, but out in the world. Bigger, bolder, more alive.
This project isn’t a single launch, but a series of moments. It’s a slow reveal of ideas and experiments that celebrate what happens when passion projects take on a life of their own.

First up, a billboard in Sheffield, a beautiful piece of print to arrive in your postbox and then a talk in London.
This October, look out for Fraise on the streets of Sheffield. Big, unapologetic, impossible to miss. Then later, something more tactile, a printed specimen. Part artwork, part keepsake. The finally, a gathering in London… closely followed by one in Sheffield. Not launches, but chances to meet, talk and share what happens when creative instincts lead the way.
We’re not here to tell you everything now, just enough to spark curiosity, and let the rest unfold.
